Elena Rivkin Franz is a business and real estate law attorney. Her real estate practice encompasses a variety of areas from mortgage law to HOA law to real estate fraud. Ms. Franz has practical experience in the real estate industry as a residential appraiser, multi-unit property manager, and project manager for condominium conversions and other real estate development work.

For business law matters, Ms. Franz works on both transactional and litigation matters. She enjoys serving as in-house counsel for local businesses on matters from contract drafting and review to lawsuit defense to commercial collections.

In law school, Ms. Franz was a judicial extern for Judge James Ware of the Federal District Court in the San Jose Division. She is an active member of the local legal community, participating in the Solo & Small Firm Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association as co-chair.

Elena Rivkin Franz was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has lived in the San Jose area for most of her life. Ms. Franz enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking photos of her baby daughter, and walking her dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
